The event

The Translational research meeting is held, in collaboration with ESVS Translational Meeting.

In 1999, the ESVB scientific committee organized the first Young Researcher Prize to recognize innovative and outstanding research network of young researchers early in their career. Our objective is to promote research amongst youngsters, allow young PhD and/or fellow to support and boost research in the field of vascular biomaterials. The abstract submission is open to vascular trainees (MSc, PhD, Students) and scientific researchers in the field of biomaterial and vascular surgery who are 35 years old or younger.

  • Device biomechanics
  • Robotics, Navigation

  • The occluded aortic and aorto-iliac bifurcation
  • Veins
  • Patient safety and prediction of implantation
  • Branches and windows arch and thoracoabdominal aorta

 → How does it work?

  • Register and submit an abstract by email at communication@gepromed.com
  • Only 35 will be selected for a 180 seconds presentation during ESVB Meeting (on May 15th
  • The rest will have the possibility to display a poster during ESVB 
  • 3 best communications will be selected to present at the symposium on May 16th
  • 3 winners for best presentation and 1 winner for best poster will be crowned during the conference dinner on May 16th

The three best projects will be awarded 1500€, 1000€ and 500€.
The best poster will be awarded 300€.
