GEPROMED test platform was created in 2009 on the site of the University Hospitals of Strasbourg (HUS). It is the result of a collaboration between the LPMT (Laboratory of Physics and Mechanic Textiles) of the University of Haute Alsace and the HUS. The platform aims to satisfy 2 main objectives: service delivery and innovation.

Since 2013, these two activities have been carried out under ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certifications. Through these activities, GEPROMED stands out from other laboratories due to the fact that its main vocation is to support any type of service through an advisory function.

In the René Kieny education center, we develop innovative educational programs and organize total immersion training for the surgical team via simulation.

GEPROMED offers services to design, set up and conduct clinical studies in accordance with the MDR EU 2017/745 Regulation. It ensures patient safety and the reliability of the clinical data collected. We support you whatever your therapeutic field, on the totality of your study or just a part, depending on your needs.  The platform is certified ISO 9001.

GEPROMED collects and analyzes all explants to understand and characterize a number of complications that occur with vascular prostheses, including tearing and rupture phenomena observed after several years of implantation in patients. All the explanted medical devices (complicated or not) are analyzed within the framework of a European collaborative network of vascular surgeons. You can send us your explants for analysis!
